AGAPE HOME - Thailand Trip
MISSIONS TRIP TO HELP AGAPE
Participants in the August 2000 missions trip.

The Agape Home construction project continues under the grace of God with the constant work of full-time paid Thai workers and with the help of volunteer missions teams from the United States, Canada, and Australia.

WE ARE SEEKING persons with the desire, construction experience and aptitude to help Agape Home construct enlarged facilities in order to embrace more children.  Experience with steel and concrete construction or with electrical wiring and plumbing is extremely helpful.  There is also a need for landscaping.

As a member of the team, you too can partner with Agape Home in building this house of love.  This trip has been set up to enable craftsmen to build the Kingdom of God by using the skills and abilities that God has ‘freely given to each one’.  Please note carefully that due to the focus of this mission outreach, manual labor and strenuous physical work will be expected.

Come ready to work and willing to be flexible.  We trust that God will bring the right group of skills together for the construction tasks needed when we arrive.  Volunteer teams such as ours are doing much of the construction.  This is a third world country, so expect to see shovels and buckets instead of Caterpillar’s and cranes.

We are now asking you to consider your part in going to Thailand or to help someone else go.  You can put your faith into action by taking part in this exciting and challenging opportunity to build the new Agape orphanage.  If God has given you construction skills or a burden for Thailand, orphans or those suffering from the HIV/AIDS epidemic, then join us on this mission trip.

This is a practical missionary trip to minister God’s love through the gifts, skills and capabilities he has imparted into our lives.  You will be touched and changed as God uses you to minister to these children who are outcasts in their own society.
